Our Philosophy
Australia is renowned for its remarkable embrace and cultivation of multiculturalism and diversity. One of the universal art forms that transcends boundaries is dance, an innate expression deeply ingrained in human nature. Regardless of race or nationality, dance serves as a means of communicating and conveying emotions through body movements and gestures. It breaks down language barriers and fosters a shared understanding among diverse cultures.
In November 2017, Star Moon Dance Academy was established, fueled by the aspirations and dreams of its students. Just as the flickering stars in the vast expanse of space converge and connect to form a galaxy, the academy symbolizes this unity. It serves as a vibrant hub where individuals come together, nurturing their talents and transforming into a celestial community.
Founder & Director
Eva Zhang
Eva Zhang, founder of Star Moon Dance Academy, graduated from Shanghai Theatre Academy in Chinese Traditional Dance and was a professional dancer with the Shanghai Dance Troupe. Her passion for dance led her to spread its charm and spirit across cultures, hoping to see her students shine like stars. Eva promotes and educates Chinese culture through teaching traditional dance and constantly challenges herself by performing in major events. Since the founding of Star Moon Dance Academy, the choreography has received praise locally and internationally, with the dancing seeds planted in Australia flourishing.
